My husband and I went out into Boston one night with a few cameras. It had been a while since I shot just for fun, and I decided to try some extended exposure shots. They are so much fun! This is one of my favorites for the night.

Boston Strong

My husband and I had a brief moment to stop by the Boston Marathon memorial on our way through the city a couple weeks ago. It was very overwhelming and beautiful. I only wish I had had a little more time to spend looking at all of the things that have been left there. I was able to snap a few quick pictures.

Jessica & Chris 2-10-13 – Willowdale Estate Wedding

It was the weekend of a record breaking blizzard here in New England. That didn’t stop Jessica & Chris from enjoying their wedding. The snow and wind didn’t quit for over a day and the drifts outside of my house were well over 6 feet high. I spent a good portion of Saturday afternoon and evening with my upstairs neighbors, digging out our driveway and cars from the blizzard, preparing to go to the wedding the next day. The weather on Sunday couldn’t have been more perfect. Despite the massive amounts of snow, it was sunny and there was not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, due to the storm, about half of the wedding guests weren’t able to get in since the airport was still closed, but that didn’t make a bit of difference. Jessica & Chris still had a beautiful and fun filled wedding at the gorgeous Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. I was so excited to shoot there since my husband and I had considered Willowdale for our wedding before opting for our seaside Gloucester venue. I definitely hope to shoot there again! Cindy & Steven 12-12-12 – Lynnfield Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Cindy & Steven’s wedding and reception, held at Spinelli’s function facility in Lynnfield, MA. It was a very nice, small ceremony with close family and friends, and Cindy’s mother officiating the ceremony. Even though it was on a Wednesday night, everyone had a great time!

Boston Engagement Photos – Cindy & Steven

Cindy & Steven included an engagement session to their wedding package. They decided to have their session in Boston, which is one of my favorite places to go. There are so many locations and natural backdrops all within walking distance of each other. It lends itself to a lot more creative shots in a short amount of time, and I just love spending time in the city! We were able to showcase some of their favorite places to go in the North End, as well as their love for the Bruins. This is what custom photography is all about!

Krista & Arthur – 7-15-12 – Arnold Arboretum, Boston, MA

I met Krista & Arthur earlier this year for their consult after Krista found my site online. They had a very intimate ceremony at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. After the formal and family photos were done, we had some fun creating portraits for them after the ceremony! Krista is very much into the Black & White photos, so there are quite a few in their collection.

I’ve been posting listings on Craigslist for a few weeks now, just to try to get some exposure. I got an email from a bride, asking if I was available to cover her small, private home ceremony about a week before. A little last minute, but I was available so I said yes. The ceremony was very intimate, and I had a fun time capturing their photos.
